This duet was commissioned by bi coastal contemporary dance company RAWdance for the company founders, Ryan T Smith and Wendy Rein for their production Double Exposure. Double Exposure included the work of several prominent west coast choreographers that all created a duet for Ryan and Wendy to perform in succession in one night. This duet playfully explores the performance of gender in an abstracted game of push and pull.
