A Trio is an homage to house dance culture and uplifts the sacred space of connection between women and femmes existing on dance floors. Combining foundational concepts of both house and contemporary dance, three women of different cultural identities and generations explore touch, subtlety, and support in conversation with complex rhythmic patterns to a minimal yet driving soundtrack by Moderat. With a restrained yet owned sensuality, the audience is invited into witness a conjuring of feminine power and asks what IS feminine at all?
